The Stratford Courthouse is proud to once more be the heart of the Shakespeare Festival
For 2026, the Stratford Shakespeare Festival turns its gaze to the Regency era with Regency Revival, a theme that honours a period of polished manners, artistic innovation, and intricate social dance.
This year, our festival will reimagine Shakespeare’s works through the lens of an age where romance was both spectacle and subtlety. Audiences are invited to revel in the elegance, wit, and cultural richness that defined this unforgettable chapter of history.
From the official opening night event on Thursday 23rd April, the Courthouse will host over 15 performances across 3 weeks. Come see our youngest performers from Courthouse Teens, Maffra Secondary College and Young Theatre Gippsland take to the Courthouse stage.
