2017 STUDENT INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY
In a first time venture The Stratford Courthouse Theatre is offering a 6 month student intern opportunity for a year 10 or 11 student interested in media, performing arts, events, cultural development or venue management from Feb 2017. The Stratford Courthouse has had a longstanding affiliation with the Gippsland Arts community and also presents some of Australia’s leading live shows. An intern would be able to focus on specific projects or tasks directly related to their interest or skillset whether it be marketing through a social media platform or part of the development of a full printed program. “We are after an energetic person wanting to make the most of a great opportunity” says Gavin from the Stratford Courthouse “it’s not important what students are studying, creative writing, business, media or arts. It’s about being dynamic and creative in the real world”
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dedicated team of arts professionals in a community setting while getting to meet some of Australia’s main names in the entertainment industry.
